This is an excellent opportunity for a General Cover Teacher to work with pupils across KS3 - KS5

The Role

Position: General Cover Teacher
Location: County Durham
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available
Age Range: KS3-KS5
Experience: Primary and/or Secondary teaching experience welcomed
Essential: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
As a General Cover Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain positive classroom environments, and ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences. Opportunities are available on a daily, short-term, and long-term basis.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers who:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and/or a relevant teaching qualification
Are passionate about helping every pupil succeed, regardless of background or ability
Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across a range of subjects
Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
Have experience working with pupils with SEMH and/or ASD
Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
Demonstrate resilience, professionalism, and a commitment to pupil wellbeing
Are keen to develop their skills and engage in ongoing professional development
