Their mission is to provide compassionate care tailored to the individual needs of their residents, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being in a homely environment.

Job Description:
I am seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to join a close-knit team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of working within a nursing home setting. While a nursing pin is not mandatory, prior experience in a similar role is desirable.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Lead and inspire our team of caregivers, fostering a culture of empathy, respect, and professionalism.
Implement effective care plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of our residents, with a particular focus on dementia care.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, with a strong understanding of CQC requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve and innovate our services, striving for excellence in all areas.
Utilise your leadership skills to drive positive change and, if applicable, lead the turnaround process.

Requirements:
Experience working in a nursing home/Residential home setting, with a solid understanding of the challenges and best practices associated with elderly care.
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
Specialised experience in dementia care, with a compassionate and person-centered approach.
Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations and standards, ensuring compliance at all times.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards shared goals.
Desirable: Experience in turnaround management, demonstrating the ability to revitalize and improve operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues alike.
