Job Title: General Teacher for Reception and Nursery

Location: Vauxhall 

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated General Teacher for our Reception and Nursery classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering young children's development in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that supports children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Conduct regular assessments and monitor children's progress, using this information to inform planning and support.
Develop and implement individualized learning plans to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of each child.
Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's progress and development.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-resourced classroom.
Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and engage in continuous professional development.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience working in an early years setting, ideally within the EYFS framework.
Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a warm and welcoming learning environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
