The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical GDS Delivery Manager to join our team on a 6 month contract basis, you will play a pivotal role in the development of a new digital product that harnesses cloud and geospatial technologies to unify and visualise complex datasets, aiming to enhance environmental management practices.
This project entails delivering a technically intricate solution, making a strong knowledge of agile delivery and a robust understanding of Government Digital Service (GDS) standards is required.
Additionally, recent experience working with near-shore partners for development projects would be very useful for this role.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or similar role, with a focus on digital product development for the GDS framework
* Strong knowledge and application of agile delivery methodologies and practices and familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and guidelines
* Experience managing and collaborating with near-shore partners is highly advantageous
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution
* Solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
