GCSE Maths Tutor - Liverpool

Location: Liverpool
Hours: 5-15 hours per week
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: Ongoing

We are currently looking for a confident GCSE Maths Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to a learner in Liverpool.

The successful candidate will be able to simplify challenging mathematical concepts, identify areas for development and tailor lessons to the learner's current level.

Main Duties
Deliver individual GCSE Maths tuition
Plan structured and purposeful lessons
Identify gaps in mathematical knowledge
Support exam preparation and revision
Build learner confidence
Adapt sessions according to progress
Provide feedback on attainment and development

Requirements
GCSE Maths teaching or tutoring experience
Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum
Previous 1:1 experience is desirable
Ability to adapt teaching methods
Strong communication skills
QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching experience preferred
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
Right to Work in the UK
