Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Gates & Barriers Engineers based in Birmingham and the surrounding areas who are looking for a local position with a well-established company that genuinely invests in its engineers.
You'll be working across commercial and residential sites throughout the local area, installing, servicing and maintaining a wide range of automated gates, barriers and access control systems. What You'll Be Doing
Installing, servicing and maintaining automatic gates and barrier systems
Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
Working on a variety of access control systems
Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Ensuring all work complies with current safety regulations and industry standards
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
Working closely with the engineering team to deliver projects efficiently
Participating in the on-call rota to support customers when required
What We're Looking For
Proven experience installing and servicing automatic gates and barrier systems
Experience with access control systems is highly desirable
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
A professional, customer-focused approach with pride in delivering quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Full UK Driving Licence
