Salary: £40,000 per annum DOE – flexibility for experienced engineers
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Gates & Barriers Engineer to join our client, carrying out service, maintenance, fault-finding and installation work across a range of automated gate and barrier systems.
The role will involve covering Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and parts of London, so flexibility and a willingness to travel across these areas are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a new challenge, with a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Salary flexibility is available for candidates with the right level of experience and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of automated gates and barriers.
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs on a variety of systems.
* Install, commission and test new gate and barrier equipment.
* Attend customer sites across the designated coverage areas.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
* Provide a professional and reliable service to customers.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience in the gates, barriers, access control or automation industry.
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
* Experience with the installation, servicing and maintenance of automated systems.
* Able to work independently and manage their workload effectively.
* A full UK driving licence.
* A professional attitude with a strong focus on customer service and quality workmanship.
* Willingness to travel throughout Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and parts of London.
