Gate Automation Engineer – £30k–£45k | Company Van | £50k+ OTE

Location of Works: East London or South East London, with occasional travel from the Midlands to the South Coast

Salary Bracket: £30,000 – £45,000 Basic Salary DOE

On-Target Earnings (OTE): £50,000+ with Overtime & Bonuses

Our customer is a growing and well-established automation company with a close-knit engineering team and a strong pipeline of work.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Gate Automation Engineer to join the team, with the role primarily focused on the installation and servicing of automated gates, barriers and associated access control systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable position with a supportive team, strong earning potential and a good work-life balance.

Salary & Benefits – Gate Automation Engineer

£30,000 – £45,000 basic salary DOE
Company van with personal use
Door-to-door travel paid
Strong overtime opportunities – 1.5x Saturdays and 2x Sundays
Performance-based bonuses
28 days holiday including Bank Holidays
Call-out rota with additional earning potential
08:00am – 16:00pm working day

Opportunity to earn £50,000+ OTE

Key Responsibilities – Gate Automation Engineer

Install and service automated gate and barrier systems.
Work on access control systems including Paxton, Net2 and Salto.
Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics across a range of systems.
Travel to customer sites from the Midlands through to the South Coast when required.
Ensure all works are completed to a high standard of safety and quality.
Complete works independently while managing workload effectively.

Skills & Experience – Gate Automation Engineer

Previous experience working with gate automation systems.
Experience with manufacturers such as BFT, NICE, CAME or FAAC.
Knowledge of access control systems including Paxton, Net2, Salto or Videx.
Background in installation and/or service.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
