Description:
My large well known Social Housing Client is currently looking for an experienced Engineer, who would be interested in becoming a Gas Supervisor.
Job Opportunity: Gas Supervisor (Social Housing)
Location: 50% Home based, 50% on site
Salary: £42,000 per annum + Overtime available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (call out is NOT required)
Requirements:
Supervisory/Lead Engineer Experience - preferred but not essential
Social Housing Background: Familiarity with social housing practices and processes.
Repairs Expertise: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in repairs within the housing sector.
ACS Qualification: Hold ACS qualifications, including HTR1 and CKR1.
Clean DBS Check: A clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) record.
UK Driving License: Valid and unrestricted.

Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Supervision:
Oversee contract operations, ensuring efficient and productive work by all operatives.
Maintain positive relationships with residents and customers.
Address any queries or issues promptly.
Supplier and Subcontractor Management:
Ensure works align with provided work sheets and meet contract KPI targets.
Timely execution of supplier/subcontractor tasks.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor work quality to uphold high standards.
Ensure timely completion of tasks.
