Job Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced Social Housing Gas Installation Engineers to join our team on an ongoing boiler replacement contract across Southwark.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-employed installation engineer with previous social housing experience, looking for consistent work, competitive installation rates and a small, localised working patch.
You will be carrying out boiler replacements and heating installations within social housing properties, working across a mixture of combi swaps, system conversions and full heating installations.
With five days of work available each week and an ongoing contract, this is an ideal opportunity for engineers looking for reliable, long-term subcontract work.
The Role & Responsibilities

Carry out boiler replacements and installations within social housing properties.
*
Complete combi-to-combi swaps, system conversions and full heating system installations.
*
Undertake powerflushing as part of the installation process.
*
Work within occupied domestic properties, maintaining a professional approach towards residents.
*
Ensure installations are completed safely and in accordance with current Gas Safe regulations.
*
Complete commissioning, certification and relevant installation paperwork.
*
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.

£340 per boiler swap, including powerflush.

Additional payments available for extra works.

Essential Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Domestic Gas Installation Engineer.
*
Social housing boiler installation experience essential.
*
Current Gas Safe registration.
*
Relevant ACS qualifications.
*
Proven experience carrying out boiler swaps, conversions and full heating installations.
*
Own hand tools and installation equipment.
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Ability to work independently and maintain high installation standards.
*
Must be able to work on a self-employed subcontract basis.
