Gas Service Only Engineer
Day Rate: £230 per day
Location: Sandwell
Contract: Social Housing
We are looking for a qualified Gas Service Only Engineer to work on a Social Housing contract covering Sandwell Council.
The contract covers a small 10-mile radius, meaning minimal travel between jobs.
Key Responsibilities
* Service gas central heating systems
* Carry out full strip-down and clean boiler services
* Fit CO₂ and fire alarms
* Work independently and use your own initiative
* Complete all required paperwork and obtain customer signatures confirming work has been completed satisfactorily
Skills & Qualifications
* ACS Certified
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Previous Social Housing experience
* Own van, tools and relevant insurance
* Clean DBS
* Full UK clean manual driving licence

* Gas Safe card – front and back
* Public Liability insurance policy schedule
* DBS/CRB check
* Asbestos Awareness certificate
* Flue Gas Analyser calibration certificate
