Description:
Take on a long-term contract role with weekly pay, an immediate start, and ongoing work as a Gas Engineer, carrying out planned gas works in Newark. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established contractor supporting a kitchen refurbishment programme within social housing properties.
You'll be working in occupied homes, completing gas isolations, first fix pipework alterations, appliance reconnections, gas safety checks, and radiator removals and refits where required. As a Gas Engineer, you will be:
Carrying out gas isolations before kitchen replacements
Completing first fix alterations to existing pipework
Reconnecting gas appliances where required
Completing gas safety checks to ensure properties remain safe and compliant
Removing and refitting radiators as part of planned kitchen refurbishment works

Valid Gas Safe registration
Current ACS qualifications
A full UK driving licence
Previous experience working within social housing
Experience working on planned kitchen refurbishment programmes (desirable)
The Gas Engineer will receive:
Around £28 per hour
