Gas Service & Repair Engineer – Liverpool
Salary: £35,875–£42,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Liverpool (L9, L10, L11, L35)
Contract: Permanent, PAYE
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with on-call requirements)
On-Call: 1 in 4 weeks
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join an established heating and maintenance team covering the L9, L10, L11, L35 postcode areas.
This is a permanent PAYE opportunity offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits and opportunities for ongoing training and career development.
You will be responsible for maintaining domestic heating and hot water systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently while delivering a high standard of customer service across domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out gas servicing and planned maintenance across domestic properties.
* Diagnosing faults and completing boiler breakdowns and repairs.
* Identifying and resolving heating and hot water issues efficiently.
* Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and relevant industry standards.
* Providing excellent customer service when working with tenants and clients.
* Completing all required paperwork, service records and compliance documentation.
* Updating job progress accurately using electronic systems.
* Participating in the on-call rota, currently 1 in 4 weeks.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repairs.
* Valid ACS qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
* Ability to diagnose faults and work independently.
* A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
