Gardener/Groundsperson

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a local, family-run gardening service company on a temporary, full time basis. If you have prior gardening experience and thrive in a dynamic work environment, we encourage you to apply.

What you can expect:

£11.44 per hour (plus £14 per hour overtime rate)

Immediate start

*

Temporary position (expected duration until October 2024)

*

7:15am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

*

Flexibility required for occasional earlier starts/later finishes with occasional overtime on Saturdays

*

Leominster based, working at various sites across the county

What you will be doing:

*

Mowing grass to precise standards

*

Strimming with precision and attention to detail

*

Weed identification and removal

*

Operation of hedge cutters, rotavators, and whacker plates

*

General gardening duties as required

What we are looking for:

Prior experience in gardening or landscaping

*

Physical fitness and ability to handle manual labour

*

Ability to differentiate between weeds and plants

*

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

*

Willing to work outside in all weathers
