I am looking for an experienced grounds maintenance team leader to work for a well-established company delivering grounds maintenance services to private and public sector organisations across the royal borough of Kensington & Chelsea.

As a Grounds maintenance team leader, you will work as part of a small team to deliver high end grounds maintenance and horticultural services on behalf of my well-known client.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

· Driving a company van between locations

· Leading a team of GM operatives

· Flowerbed maintenance including weeding and planting.

· Grass and hedge cutting using petrol mowers and strimmer’s

· Leading a dedicated mobile team that will work in the Royal borough of Kensington & Chelsea area providing services to specific clients

· You will organise daily work schedules, also making sure all daily checks have been completed by the team on relevant plant and machinery.

· You will ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures are met and followed

· You will have excellent industry knowledge and be able to demonstrate this. It would be desirable that you have had experience in a similar role

· Responsibilities would include grass cutting, strimming, blowing, sports pitch marking, pruning, bedding, litter picking, weed control

· It is important that you can deal with the public and customers a like

Essential Skills/ Experience:

· Must have experience in horticulture.

· Experienced in leading teams

· Experience of driving 3.5 tonne vans

· A strong team player

· The skill to build good working relationships

· Reliable and excellent timekeeper
