Description:

Our client, who provides exclusive services to their VIP clients in luxury private homes and estates across the UK, is recruiting gardeners to be based at their large estate near Chertsey, Surrey.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced gardener who is looking for a new challenge and to join a fast-paced and friendly team that always gives its best.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Mowing

* Ensure lawns are mowed and maintained to standards required

* Shrub herbaceous

* Border maintenance

* Ensure shrubs and borders are maintained to the standards required

* Turf and leaf maintenance

* Maintain first level of turf, including dew removal and debris clearance

* Reseeding of turf and watering all the areas, especially in the summer

* Seasonal bedding - Prepare beds for each season, pot plants and ensure weeding is up to date and maintained

* Maintenance of all types of gravel paths

* Trimming

* Trim hedge lines and all wall/tree bases ensuring all edging is accurate and precise

* Hedge cutting

* Maintain hedging, including box edging and ivy wall trimming

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Previous garden maintenance experience

Physically fit to perform garden maintenance work, including operation of garden machinery

Extensive plant knowledge

PA1/PA6

Own transport and a valid driving licence to get to the location

Must have an interest in gardening and plants

Team player - must have a preference for working in a team environment

Conduct yourself in a professional and efficient manner and is flexible handling a variety of tasks

Ability to work in all weather conditions

Professionalism - to attain and maintain the necessary professional standards

SALARY, BENEFITS, AND HOURS:

£26,000 plus overtime available, paid at time and a half

Minimum of 40 hours per week, with your core days and hours being Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30 pm

Highly flexible to work longer hours and weekends during busy periods, particularly the summer.
