The Role
We are seeking an experienced Garage Door Technician/Fitter to join the growing team.
You will be responsible for installing garage doors to a high standard at customer properties across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. You will also receive full training in garage flooring installation, which will form a significant part of the role.
This is a customer-facing position, so excellent workmanship, professionalism and customer service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Install and fit garage doors safely and professionally.
Complete installations efficiently and to a high standard.
Work directly with customers at residential properties.
Provide excellent customer service throughout each installation.
Carry out garage flooring installations following full training.
Maintain tools, equipment and the company vehicle to a high standard.
Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
Represent the company professionally when visiting customer properties.
Travel throughout Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 3 years' experience in garage door fitting/installation.
A full UK driving licence.
Strong practical and technical skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
A strong work ethic and reliable attitude.
Good communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A professional and customer-focused approach.
A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Ideally, you will live locally to Hertfordshire.
