Fundraising and Engagement Manager £33,000 - £37,000

35 hours per week, 26 days holiday, hybrid working, class pass - access to gyms, fitness studios, salons and spas

A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Fundraising professional to join this inspirational charity at an exciting time of their development, having moved from being a London-focused charity to one that has national reach. This organisation provides programmes for underrepresented beneficiaries, supporting young people, enriching society and helping communities. A mix of remote and office-based working is offered (3 days needing to be in the offices based near Lewisham)

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate fundraising experience supporting a variety of income streams, ideally with a focus on Individual giving. A proven track record of successful direct marketing campaigns and experience of providing exceptional donor stewardship. You will need to be able to communicate with a wide range of audiences, both in writing and verbally. They are looking for a self-starter who enjoys responsibility, someone who is passionate and excited to be part of this incredible team and help build upon their successes.

Reporting into and working closely with the Head of Income generation, this position offers much variety and responsibilities including:

• Maintaining and growing the charity’s Fundraising income by maintaining relationships and excellent communications with individual supporters and donors

• Identifying opportunities for income-generating activity within the wide group of stakeholders

• Working in collaboration with the Digital and Communications team in running of virtual or in-person campaigns

• Designing and building high-quality, engaging supporter journeys which drive donor acquisition and retention

• Managing the Challenge/Events Fundraisers participating in the London Marathon and Westminster Mile, ensuring they are receiving effective stewardship to stay on top of their fundraising and training

• Assisting the Income Generation team in planning and delivering stewardship events involving Corporate Partners, Major Donors, and Participants

• Working closely with the Communications team to create high quality content/case studies on our participants and donors that can be used on our website and on social media

• Assisting in identifying new sources of funding in the Grants and Awards spaces

• Reporting to donors on the impact of work and the important role they are playing in supporting

• Ensuring the fundraising database (Donorfy) is utilised appropriately, with communications with fundraisers logged effectively

• Reporting monthly income, donor acquisition and attrition.
