We are currently seeking a SEN tutor / Functional skills tutor to work with students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Mental Health difficulties.
As a SEN Tutor, you will be tutoring groups of students with ASD, SEMH and other learning difficulties who have a wide range of abilities from lower levels to age-related expectations. This role would, therefore, suit a teacher who is confident in teaching Maths and English at functional skills level.
Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed and flexible to teach students with special educational needs, including learning inside of the classroom and teaching life skills. The candidate would be required to apply positive behaviour management approaches.
