Position Available: Fully Qualified & Passionate SEN Teacher
Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a fantastic school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special educational needs and disabilities (SEN), and a commitment to creating inclusive learning environments where every student can succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
Collaborate with colleagues, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN.
Maintain accurate records of students' progress and communicate regularly with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and fosters a love of learning.
Stay up-to-date with best practices and developments in SEN education, and participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.Requirements:
Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Minimum of 6 months' experience working as a SEN Teacher in a UK school setting.
Full-time availability.
Current and valid DBS certificate on the updated service, or willingness to obtain one.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
