Salary: £50,000 per annum
Location: Central London (EC) - Office attendance required for 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home.
Role Overview:
As a Web Developer within our client's dynamic team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining high-quality web applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with project managers and team members to understand project requirements, developing database schemas, writing clean and efficient code, and ensuring the performance and reliability of web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel PHP framework.
* Collaborate with project managers and team members to accurately gather project requirements.
* Design and implement robust database schemas and models.
* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
* Troubleshoot, test, and debug web applications.
* Integrate third-party services and APIs.
* Stay updated with Laravel updates and best practices.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality.
* Optimize web applications for speed and scalability.
* Provide technical support to clients and end-users.
* Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (essential).
* At least 2 years of enterprise-grade experience in full-stack software development.
* Proficient in AWS or Azure Cloud computing/developer skills.
* Experience with Laravel, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP, GITHUB, SQL, WordPress, Git.
* Knowledge of Vue.js or React is a plus.
* Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
