Are you a qualified year 1 teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? If so, Zest Education have a great opportunity for you! We are looking for a dedicated teacher to work in a year 1 class at a school in Stafford. This role will be on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.
This schools aim is for all children to be given every opportunity to achieve their full potential. They take pride in making the curriculum as exciting as possible to achieve the highest standards so someone creative is essential. It will be your job to set high standards of behaviour expectations in line with what the school promote and encourage the children to be their best possible self.
This role will include:
* Delivering lessons in line with the British curriculum whilst making them engaging,
* Assessing the students progress and reporting where necessary,
* Creating a positive and safe environment for children to learn,
* Leading by example in line with the schools’ values and expectations to bring the best out of the students.
You will be required to have:
* Qualified Teaching Status and relevant experience in a primary school setting,
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to get one,
* An understanding of the British curriculum,
* Great communication skills,
* A genuine passion for working with children and their progression.
