We're working with welcoming and inclusive Secondary Schools across Ealing who are looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their teams on a full-time basis, 5 days a week.

We're ideally looking for candidates with previous experience supporting young people, whether that's within a school, SEND setting, youth work, coaching, care or a similar environment.

You'll work closely with teachers, SEND teams and pastoral staff, supporting students both academically and personally throughout the school day.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting students in lessons through 1-to-1, small-group and whole-class support
• Providing additional support to students with SEND and additional learning needs
• Helping students stay focused, engaged and confident in their learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour, resilience and independence
• Supporting students with their academic, social and emotional development
• Working closely with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Building positive relationships with students and helping them reach their potential

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience working with young people is highly desirable
• Experience in schools, SEND, youth work, coaching, care or similar settings is advantageous
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and their education
• Patient, approachable and able to build strong relationships with students
• A confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
• Adaptable, proactive and willing to support wherever needed
• Available to work full-time, 5 days a week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
