Are you a passionate teacher looking for an opportunity to support the education of young people?
Smile Education, Northwest is now recruiting for a full-time Business Studies Teacher (with a bit of ICT experience) for a secondary school based in in Oldham and the nearby areas in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Longsight, Westwood, Featherstall and Derker.

What does the role involve?
Preparing Business Studies teaching and learning materials
Providing guidance and advice to pupils on education and on their further education and careers
Providing feedback to students and parents, through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate
Contributing to department planning and self-evaluation
Providing professional support to other teachers and support staff
Attending departmental and school meetings, either during or after the school day, as requested
What do you need?
A business studies-related education degree
A valid PGCE / QTS
An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum and the subjects
Able and willing to travel to the area
2 education-based references
A passion for teaching
Good approach to behaviour management
A determined, hard-working attitude
Immediate start is available.
The school can offer you security with the role as it is a long-term position for at least 1 academic year.
