Our esteemed client is currently seeking a talented Full Stack Developer, specializing in PHP and JavaScript, to join their dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in developing an innovative platform designed to bridge the gap between tradespeople and homeowners. The client's current system, built on Symfony, is poised for a transformative shift towards Laravel and Vue.js/Nuxt in the near future. We're in search of an individual who not only has a track record of modernizing legacy codebases but also possesses a keen understanding of headless development methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Elevating Codebase: Utilize your expertise in Laravel, Symfony, and Vue.js to modernize the platform, ensuring a smooth transition and optimized performance.
Owning Features: Take charge of feature development from ideation to deployment, immersing yourself in the development process.
Effective Communication: Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical team members.
Innovative Contributions: Bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the forefront, showcasing a deep understanding of the product and its potential impact on the audience.Must-Have Skills:
Proficient in PHP & TypeScript: Demonstrated ability in crafting clean and efficient code using PHP and TypeScript.
Framework Mastery: Hands-on experience with Laravel (including familiarity with Cashier, Jetstream) and Vue.js.
UI Development Proficiency: Skilled in Tailwind for creating intuitive user interfaces.
Payment Integration Experience: Familiarity with Stripe for secure payment processing.
Cloud Services Knowledge: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for leveraging cloud computing services.
Project Management Tools: Proficiency in Jira for effective project tracking and management.Preferred Skills:
Prior experience with Inertia.js for building single-page applications.
Knowledge of Nuxt.js or Next.js for server-side rendering.
