Description:
Global Highland are currently recruiting for Front of House for a busy cafe and tourist centre in Fort Augustus.
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused team members ideally with barista experience to join full time for the rest of the summer season.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
* Take food and beverage orders accurately using the EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale)
* Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, food and ice cream
* Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
* Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
* Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations.
* Replenish stock, condiments, and display items as needed.
* Follow food hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
* Assist with opening and closing duties.
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality or customer service
* Barista experience preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly, positive, and approachable personality.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong teamwork and time management skills.
* Basic numeracy skills for handling payments.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
