Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front of House (Food and Beverage) staff member to join our team at Dover Castle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, ensuring that they have an enjoyable and memorable experience at our client establishment. Candidates must be available to work from 25th - 27th May.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests
- Ensure that all food and drinks are served promptly and of high quality
- Maintain a clean and organised dining area
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Handle guest complaints and provide solutions to resolve them
- Work with the kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are accurate and timely
- Assist with event planning and coordination
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the food and beverage industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures
