Synapri are currently working with an award winning online news publisher looking to add a skilled front end developer into their expanding engineering team. The engineering team have a core focus on delivering high quality products to help the growth of their sites and thrive in creating engaging experiences for their users.
You will also be responsible for developing products, estimating work, mentoring junior developers and writing tests.
About you
* Extensive software development experience working in an agile environment with strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React Experience
* You can help to analyse, debug, and diagnose code quickly and efficiently
* Be able to test and write test for new features both functional and non-functional
* You can work easily within a scrum team to define Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) scenarios
Skills
* Professional software development experience within a web environment
* Expert knowledge of JavaScript
* Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
* Strong experience using React
* Experience with Agile management tools
* Excellent problem solving and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Location: Hybrid working - 2x a month onsite in London
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
