Prospero Teaching is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL French Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Hillingdon from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching, inspiring students to develop a love of languages, and supporting excellent academic outcomes. The school offers a welcoming environment, supportive leadership, and excellent opportunities for professional development.
The Role
Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
Assess student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations.
Contribute to the wider success of the MFL department and school community.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching French within UK secondary schools.
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
A genuine passion for modern foreign languages and student achievement.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
