Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL French Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hounslow from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering outstanding teaching, raising student achievement, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. The school has a supportive leadership team, a collaborative MFL department, and a strong commitment to staff development.
The Role
Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
Foster a positive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Contribute to the wider life of the MFL department and school community.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching French in UK secondary schools.
Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
Is passionate about modern foreign languages and committed to helping students succeed.
Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
