Noble Recruiting have the pleasure to support a wonderful, long-standing, and globally renown Client of ours at their Southampton Offices.
We are looking for a confident Inside Sales and Quotations Clerk to join our client who is expanding their team and it's very exciting times for them - this role is primarily suited to you if you are from a Shipping/Freight background and love speaking with Customers & building relationships!
Permanent Position for you
Monday to Friday's - 9:00am to 5:30pm
On site position, free parking + fantastic benefits detailed at interview stage
Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 per annum - depending on experience
Your role would involve:
* Quoting customers using their 360 portal and in house system - training provided.
* Ensuring Quotes are sent accurately and with a fast turn around.
* Following up quotes with customers via phone and asking relevant questions to secure the booking.
* Competition mapping.
* Feeding back any information that could help secure future bookings for customers to management/team leader.
* NO outbound sales!
Experience we are looking for:
* Must have recent, demonstrable experience working within a Shipping environment - Customer service or sales area within the last 6 months.
* Excellent Customer Service skills - confident to communicate via telephone and emails.
* Polite, friendly and approachable manner.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Competent I.T. computer skills.
* Driver & own transport is desirable.
