Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday)

We are working with a well-established, family-run freight forwarding business with over 40 years of industry experience. They offer a supportive, close-knit environment where every team member plays a key role and can make a real impact.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with all-round freight forwarding experience to join a small, dedicated team. The position will initially focus heavily on customs, with the opportunity to develop into a more end-to-end freight forwarding role over time.
You'll be working across both deep sea and European movements, gaining exposure to a variety of shipments and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Completing import customs entries accurately and efficiently
Coordinating FCL and LCL shipments across deep sea and European routes
Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Supporting export customs clearance where required
Assisting with T1 transit procedures (desirable)
Ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met
Supporting the full end-to-end freight forwarding process as the role developsRequirements
Previous experience within freight forwarding (minimum 1 year preferred)
Experience completing import customs entries
Knowledge of FCL and LCL transport operations
Familiarity with customs systems (any system experience considered)
Experience with CNS/DESTIN8 systems is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and communication skillsWhat's on Offer
