European Road Freight Operator / Coordinator
£30,000 - £36,000 | Bristol | Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00

Freight International is an independent, ambitious and fast-growing freight forwarding company based in Bristol. With a close-knit team of just 15 people, we're building something exciting - and we're looking for an experienced Road Freight Operator / Coordinator to join us.
This is a hands-on role focused primarily on European Road Freight, covering both Import and Export, with some exposure to Sea Freight.
The Role
You'll be responsible for coordinating shipments from start to finish, building strong relationships with customers, hauliers and overseas partners, and ensuring freight moves smoothly, efficiently and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing European road freight imports and exports
Arranging collections and deliveries with hauliers
Preparing and checking shipping and customs documentation
Liaising with customers, suppliers and international partners
Tracking shipments and proactively resolving issues
Handling quotations and supporting customers with their freight requirements
Assisting with sea freight shipments when required
About You
We're looking for someone with practical freight forwarding experience, ideally with a strong background in European road freight. You'll be organised, commercially minded and confident dealing with customers and suppliers.
You'll also be someone who enjoys working in a smaller, entrepreneurial environment where your contribution genuinely matters.
