Freelance Site Manager – Housing
Rotherham
Immediate Start | Approx. 5-Month Contract
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a well-established regional contractor delivering a 29-unit residential development in Rotherham.
This is an immediate requirement with a project duration of approximately 5 months, potential for extension making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced housing Site Manager looking for their next contract.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Duties will include:
* Managing all site operations from start to completion
* Coordinating subcontractors and site labour
* Ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times
* Driving quality standards and programme delivery
* Liaising with the Contracts Manager and wider project team
* Managing site records and reporting
* Ensuring NHBC standards are maintained throughout the build
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential housing developments
* Experience delivering new build housing projects
* NHBC experience is essential
* Local Authority housing experience would be highly advantageous
* SMSTS
* First Aid at Work
* Black CSCS Card
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Able to start immediately
