Description:
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a programme of refurbishment and external works on a residential project in Harlow.
The scheme incorporates a varied package of works including the renewal of door sets and windows, fire stopping, masonry repairs and cleaning, suspended ceilings, roof and flat roof repairs, stair and walkway repairs, concrete repairs, rendered and plastered coatings, fencing and drainage works.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Day-to-day management of site activities and subcontractors
* Managing multiple work packages across the programme
* Ensuring works remain on programme
* Maintaining high standards of health & safety
* Quality control and snagging
* Coordinating trades, materials and site logistics
* Liaising with the wider project and management teams
* Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
About You
We are looking for a Site Manager with experience delivering refurbishment, planned maintenance or occupied residential works. Experience managing a combination of roofing, windows, fire stopping, masonry and external works would be particularly beneficial.
Applicants should hold relevant site management qualifications including SMSTS and First Aid.
This is an excellent short-term freelance opportunity commencing 4 January 2027 for approximately two months
