Freelance Site Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations on a fast-paced construction project.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and deliveries to meet programme milestones.
* Maintain site H&S compliance, conduct inductions and toolbox talks, and keep RAMS up to date.
* Manage quality control, snagging, and site documentation (daily diaries, permits, inspections).
* Liaise with the client, PM, and design team; attend progress meetings and issue reports.
* Monitor materials, plant, and logistics; resolve on-site issues promptly.
About you:
* Proven site management experience in construction/fit-out/refurb (SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid preferred).
* Strong knowledge of H&S, RAMS, permits, and CDM.
* Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Able to read drawings, manage programmes, and deliver to deadlines.
