Freelance Site Engineer (RC Frame)
Sheffield
Start: 17th June
Duration: 60 weeks
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer specialising in Reinforced Concrete (RC) Frame for a prestigious high-rise construction project in Sheffield. This 60-week project offers an exciting opportunity to work on a landmark development in the heart of the city, contributing to Sheffield's skyline.
THE ROLE
• Site Engineer setting out for the construction of high-rise RC frames
• Ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with management team and Client to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor progress and quality of work.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, reports, and as-builts
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on-site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any engineering issues that arise during construction.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
THE CANDIDATE
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field would be advantageous
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on RC frame projects, particularly in high-rise construction.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction techniques and best practices.
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
• CSCS is essential
• Able to commute and work in Sheffield city centre
• Excellent RC Frame knowledge and project experience
