Freelance Site Engineer
Newcastle Area
Start: 8th April 2024
Duration: 6-8 weeks
£300 per shift
My client are a Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor operating in the Yorkshire and Northeast Regions on a variety of large civils and groundworks packages for Tier 1 Main Contractors on major projects. They have a requirement for a Freelance Site Engineer for the construction of a new car park as park of a larger civils scheme.
Scope of Works: Surface Water Drainage / Ducting for Services / Trimming up to Formation for Permeable Paving. The Car Park is 5,500 sqm
The Role:
• Responsible for all setting out, QA and Records
• Produce As-Built Surveys
• Liaise with Site Team and Main Contractor Engineer
The Candidate:
• Experienced Site Engineer with min 2-3 years site experience
• Background in civil engineering relevant to scope of works listed above
• Ideal based in the Newcastle area
• Able to use Robotic Total Station and AutoCAD
• Good Communication (Written and verbal)
• Professional Attitude
• CSCS card is essential
