Setting Out Engineer (Freelance)
Location: West Sussex (including Chichester, Portsmouth and Sussex)
Rate: £400 per day (CIS Subcontractor)
Hours: 07:30-16:30 (40 hours a week)
Duration: 3 months’ worth

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are a Nationwide Earthworks and Civils Contractor.
They are looking for a Freelance Setting Out Engineer to use a Trimble GPS, levelling, CAD Design and model specifications (using your own equipment).
You must have a strong understanding of interpreting drawings, surveying techniques, conducting precise measurements and survey reports.
Setting Out Engineer Requirements:
* A Valid CSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence.
* Up to 5 years' experience as a Setting Out Engineer (on Earthworks Projects).
* A Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent.
* Your own PPE, equipment and tools.
* Reading Construction Drawings.
