Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor
Remote, UK & Ireland
£400 - £600 per day + Occasional Site Travel
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established fit-out contractor on a freelance basis. Offering remote working, a competitive day rate and the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of commercial projects throughout the UK and Ireland.
Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a flexible freelance opportunity with a well-established contractor?
This independent contractor operates across the UK and Ireland, delivering high-quality fit-out projects across retail, hospitality, offices and commercial spaces. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior QS to support their project portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have strong construction experience, ideally within fit-out, although candidates from wider construction backgrounds will also be considered.
The Role:
Commercial management of fit-out projects from start to completion
Cost control, forecasting, valuations and final accounts
Managing subcontractors, variations and commercial negotiations
Remote working with occasional travel to project sites
The Person:
Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a fit out / general construction background
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Willing to travel to sites across UK & Ireland Occasionally
