Description:
First Task Professional are delighted to be working with a busy, specialist decorating contractor to recruit for a temporary Quantity Surveyor to undertake a 10-12 week contract in Glasgow with an immediate start available.
Full time hours are preferred but part time options may be considered.
Responsibilities include:
* Prepare Cost plans for various decoration packages
* Prepare full BoQ and tender documentations for the projects when they reach tender status
* Prepare Contract information. (Conditions of contracts vary depending on Client/Project, however they are mainly ICC or SBCC)
* Participate in client discussions on the projects
* Undertake and prepare monthly valuations and Certificate of Payments
* Prepare monthly financial reports on projects
* Assess variations and EoTs when presented by the Contractors
Rate is negotiable dependent on experience and Ltd, CIS or PAYE tax payment method options will be considered.
