Overview:
The role is for an experienced and highly skilled freelance Project Manager / Block Manager to oversee a prestigious high-rise apartment development in the heart of Manchester. This two-year project will involve the construction of a modern, multi-story residential building, setting new standards in urban living.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor progress, report on, and ensure adherence to the project timeline and budget.
• Resolve issues or delays promptly, maintaining communication with all parties involved.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the construction process.
• Implement and manage project controls, schedules, and risk management plans.

Requirements:
• Experience as a Project Manager / Block Manager on high-rise or large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Note: The role is to manage one (18 - 20 story) block, of multiple blocks being built concurrently as part of the same development and not to run an entire project as a whole. You will be reporting to a Project Director.
