Freelance General Foreman
Area: Humberside
Sector: Drainage / Civils / Highways
Start: Mid May
Duration: 6 Months
My Client are a Civil Engineering Contractor that work within various disciplines within the civil engineering sector. For this particular position they are acting Drainage Sub-Contractor for a large Highways and Infrastructure Project.
Scope of Works: install deep, large diameter drainage pipes and connecting surface drainage pipes under the roads/carriageway on the respective schemes.
The Role:
• Responsible for overseeing x5 Gangs (3 person gangs)
• Liaison with Main Contractor (Client)
• Allocating and setting people to work
• Complete Day Sheets
• Ordering (Pre-Procured) Materials
• Ensuring works is carried out safely and in-line with programme and procedure
Requirements:
• Freelance General Foreman with relevant drainage and civils experience in highways sector
• CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS are Essential
• Strong leadership skills and people management skills
• I.T. Skills: Email, Microsoft Office
• Positive attitude
