Freelance Finishing Foreman (Housing)
Chinley
Start: 7th May
End: 30th August
£220 - £240 per shift
My Client are a Main Contractor That work in various construction sectors. They have a New Build Housing Association project in Chinley that requires an experienced, hands-on Freelance Finishing Foreman.
The Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager to get through the Snag List and have all properties finished and ready for hand over. The successful candidate will be from a joinery background and will complete as many of the snags as possible themselves.
• Work with Site Manager to get properties finished and ready for handover
• All properties must be snag free prior to hand over
• Identify snags and rectify/finish accordingly
• Liaison with sub-contractors/trades for larger snags
• Maintain records, photographs, diaries etc
• Attend site meetings
The Candidate
• CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid are all essential for the role
• Previous experience snagging/finishing new build housing
• Ideally someone from a joinery background
• Must be willing to be hands on and complete many of the snags yourself
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Keen eye for detail and high quality finish
• Good communication skills
• Able to use Microsoft Office
