Our client are a reputable main contractor who are looking for a Freelance Design Manager to work on cladding replacement projects across the UK. This will be a site based role from Leeds.

Contract duration- 6 months minimum

Rate- Negotiable

Location- Leeds

Ideal candidate:

* Experience working on cladding projects is desired

* Experience working student accommodation, hotels or apartment schemes is preferable

* Ambitious and motivated work attitude

Duties will include:

* Managing all design activity through to completion of the projects.

* Advising and supporting the client, commercial and project teams on the risks/ opportunity with the development of the building design.

* Managing the design process within agreed timescales whilst displaying excellent technical expertise and commercial awareness.

* Ensure the design process meets current legislation and strive to eliminate health & safety risks during the construction.
