Freelance Building Surveyor – Education Condition Surveys (Outside IR35)
Location: Cambridge
Rate: £330 per day
Contract: Freelance, Outside IR35
Duration: Immediate start through to the end of the school summer holidays
Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Building Surveyor to undertake condition surveys across educational properties in and around Cambridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with a strong background in education sector condition surveys who is confident using GoReport and producing high-quality written survey reports.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out condition surveys of educational buildings and estates.
Collect and record survey data using GoReport.
Assess building elements and identify defects, maintenance requirements, and lifecycle considerations.
Produce clear, accurate, and detailed written condition survey reports.
Ensure surveys are completed in line with project requirements and agreed timescales.Essential Requirements
Proven experience undertaking building condition surveys.
Previous experience surveying educational facilities (schools, colleges, academies, or universities).
Proficient in the use of GoReport.
Strong report-writing skills with the ability to produce comprehensive condition reports.
Enhanced DBS certificate (current and valid).
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.Contract Details
Outside IR35.
£330 per day.
Full-time commitment (5 days per week).
Contract running through to the end of the school holiday period.
