FPGA & DSP Engineer | £65-85k (DOE) | Hybrid | Cambridge
Are you ready to develop cutting-edge FPGA and DSP solutions for radar, communications, and advanced sensing technologies?
My client is a leading engineering consultancy delivering exceptional innovation across defence, communications, and sensing markets, with a strong focus on translating complex customer requirements into robust, real-world technology.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality FPGA and DSP designs, contributing across the full lifecycle from concept through to validation
* Contribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and project planning, including proposals and time estimates
* Engage with clients on a technical level, including pre-contract scoping discussions
* Work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams, potentially mentoring junior colleagues
Technical Requirements
* Strong HDL skills with the AMD Vivado toolchain
* Solid grounding in digital signal processing
* Experience targeting AMD (Xilinx) silicon, including Zynq SoC devices
Bonus Skills
* RF systems experience
* Familiarity with OpenCPI, STICS, or SOSA
* Prior consultancy experience
