Description:

A leading insurance organisation is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join the finance team on a 9-month maternity cover contract.

Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis, supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes

* Deliver insightful monthly management information and performance reporting

* Develop and maintain robust financial models to support commercial and strategic decisions

* Provide detailed variance analysis and financial commentary for senior stakeholders

* Partner with operational and finance teams to drive performance and identify opportunities

* Support annual planning cycles and long-term financial planning activities

* Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership teams

Essential Requirements

* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

* Previous FP&A experience within the insurance sector

* Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis expertise

* Advanced financial modelling skills with the ability to build and enhance complex models

* Experience producing Board-level and Executive-level reporting

* Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities

* Advanced Excel skills

Desirable Experience

* Lloyd's, MGA, Specialty Insurance or Reinsurance experience

* Exposure to Power BI, TM1, Anaplan or similar planning tools

* Experience working within a fast-paced or transformation environment

* Knowledge of insurance performance metrics including GWP, loss ratios and combined ratios

The successful candidate will be a commercially minded finance professional who can quickly establish credibility, influence senior stakeholders and deliver high-quality insight from day one. You will be comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple priorities within a dynamic insurance environment
