Finance Analyst (6-Month FTC)
Heathrow Area | Office-Based (5 Days Per Week) £45,000 - £50,000 Pro Rata
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join a well-established business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a newly created role that offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the chance to contribute to key strategic and commercial initiatives.
Reporting into the FP&A Manager, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, business case evaluation and performance analysis. This position is ideally suited to a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders, driving improvements and using data to influence decision-making.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivering weekly and monthly volume, revenue and performance forecasting
Supporting annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes
Reviewing Capex and Opex business cases and tracking realised benefits
Analysing financial and operational performance against budget and forecast
Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support commercial decision-making
Monitoring cost-saving and revenue-generating initiatives across the business
Producing headcount and workforce planning models
Partnering with procurement and operational teams to assess commercial impacts
Supporting cashflow forecasting and scenario analysis
Improving financial processes, controls and reporting capabilities
Assisting senior finance leadership on ad hoc strategic projects
About You
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or a strong finalist
Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A or Commercial Finance role
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Experience with Power BI, Power Query or finance systems would be advantageous
Keen interest in systems, automation and process improvement
