Description:
We are recruting for one of our clients based in Loddon for a Foundry/Labourer Operative on a full time temporary ongoing basis.
Hours -
Monday to Thursday 7:00am until 15:30pm
Friday 7:00am until 14:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate plant and machinery and use hand tools to beak out castings, de-core and reclaim moulding sand.
* Load and unload weights to and from moulds
* Empty, clean and maintain the sand reclaim unit
* General housekeeping duties
* Empty, clean and maintain the dust extraction units
* Operate the Forklift/Digger to load and unload transport and to reclaim or clear up sand [not essential]
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Experience in foundry, fabricating or manufacturing.
* Practical and motivated
* Competent Counterbalance forklift operator [not essential
