Foundry Bench Hand - Temporary To Permanent | Birmingham | £12.71 p/h | Immediate Start
The Assignment
We have an immediate requirement for a Bench Hand to join a busy manufacturing site in Birmingham. The assignment is ongoing, with strong potential to go permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidate, including a possible pay increase to £14-£15 per hour.
What the Work Involves
Working as part of a small production team, your duties will include:
- Assembly and finishing of cast components
- Using hand tools to clean, trim, and prepare parts
- Conducting visual inspections for quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Hours, Shifts & Pay
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, Days 7am - 3.30pm
Pay rate: £12.71 p/h
Pay frequency: Weekly
Holiday pay: Accrued and paid weekly
What We Need From You
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Experience using hand tools advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on your feet for a full shift
- Right to work in the UK - documentation will be required before start
